The original. Forty seats in a converted sandwich shop across from the hospital, garage doors up in summer, line out the door on weekends.
Our most charming location, with a true neighborhood feel and a big dog-friendly patio. Parking is easy: ample street spots plus a lot behind the building.
Weekends get a line. Come early, or order pickup online and walk past it. Breakfast and lunch, all day.
Finding us: East 18th Avenue between Humboldt and Franklin, across from Saint Joseph Hospital. Maps call the neighborhood Uptown or City Park West — same corner either way, an easy hop from City Park, Cheesman Park and Capitol Hill.
